Coronavirus walk no. 176, Kimpton, 30th September 2023

This was going to be the last walk that I photographed, but it turned out not to be. The colour balance is, as usual, all wrong, despite spending several hours attempting to correct it.

With both a train strike and a weather strike, there was no pylon hunt, so a hunt replacement walk was taken instead. This walk turned out to be the genesis of the post box hunts.

Although nominally the destination was Kimpton, for whatever reason there are hardly any photographs of Kimpton itself. That will have to wait until another day.

A brief detour: I thought this public footpath would lead to Kimpton but it seemed not to go the way I intended …

And that is really it! I stopped to get something to eat and drink, but took no more photographs before turning around to head back.
