Inveraray to Taynuilt towers

Contents
Overview
The line between the Inveraray and Taynuilt substations in Scotland uses a transmission tower type likely to be unique to this line. These are “light construction” towers, designed for 0.125□″ SCA (125 mm² Tiger ACSR) conductors and no earthwire. The towers were Blaw Knox contract T1498. The tower types are suffixed “L”, possibly denoting light construction.
An adapted version of this tower suite was used for Quoich–Broadford, with earthwire support.
