ADI Corp
Overview
Advanced Datum Information Corp. (ADI) was a Taiwanese manufacturer. They manufactured moving ferrite inductive keyboards of a design very similar to DIN-compliant Keytek Inductric. It is possible that Keytek sold the technology off to ADI. ADI also manufactured monitors and desktop computers.
Keyboards
- ADI KI-5170 (PCB dated 8714); horizontal matrix tracks are doubled; 5170 is the model number of the IBM Personal Computer/AT and this is a PC/AT layout keyboard
- NCR K430 (PCBs dated 8750)
The NCR K430 keyboard accepts Cherry MX keycaps, and this is likely to be true of KI-5170 also. Oak provided the PCB substrate material in both cases.
