NWE SL7
Contents
Overview
Contract NWE SL7 is or includes Kendal to Staveley. No drawings have been recovered. The tower type is very similar to that presently listed as SEE SL8. Differences in bracing include omission of the bottom face longitudinal bracing on the line tower crossarms, and a lighter bracing pattern on the bottom panel of the D60. The D10 tower appears to be a different design.

Tower forms
The designations of the towers are unknown. The angle towers appear to be 10°, 30°, 60° and 90°. The preliminary diagrams below (based on Google Street View) are scaled to crossarm spacing of 8 foot 6 with ground clearance of 40 foot on the angle towers, as per the SEE SL8 terminal tower and consistent with towers of a similar age. The line tower ground clearance is a compromise between other types at 44 feet.
