Gen. OHL numbers
Overview
“GEN.OHL” seems to be a kind of catalogue of standard tower types. “GEN.OHL” numbers have been added to various sets of tower drawings. The numbering process does not seem to be in any way consistent. A single L number represents a set of drawings; exactly which drawings are covered by an L number remains to be determined. One drawing uses M instead of L, suggesting two or more parallel sets of numbers.
The numbers only appear on a small percentage of drawings (even for the same contract) and the organisation responsible for this numbering remains a mystery.

GEN.OHL.132/L55 is the drawing that led to J L Eve C534 being mistakenly named “L55”.
