Overview
TEC Corporation, formerly Tokyo Electric Appliances Co., Ltd. upon its founding in 1950 and Tokyo Electric Co., Ltd. from 1952 and now Toshiba Tec Corporation, is a Japanese electronics manufacturer and former appliance manufacturer.
TEC Corporation of Japan should not be confused with the American TEC, Incorporated (previously Transistor Electronics Corporation) and the “TEC” brand of keyboard switches from Taiwan.
Keyboards
One example is known, a PKBAP-3600 point-of-sale keyboard listed in the Deskthority forum topic WTS : Amstrad PC1512 Keyboard, Tec keyboard, Escom FK-2002 …. This device uses an SMK KUS-type assembly that is likely to be KUS09 Series.
