Cherry UB80-01AA

The images below depict a Cherry UB80-01AA, a Cherry-made Hi-Tek High Profile keyboard, and were provided by UncleFan. The Cherry serial number is 85464 and the Digital serial number is 284481. From the IC dates, the unit was manufactured around 1980.

This example uses an SMC KR3600-902 encoder (3600 bits of look-up table ROM).

It would appear that Cherry used their own keycaps with these keyboards, by way of adapters; a single broken adapter can be seen in the photos.

The bottom (solder side) of the PCB is labelled on the right side as follows:

LK001-A KEYBOARD
5013173 A SIDE 2
5413174
026-0674
ART REV E

The two lines above are repeated on the top side of the PCB. Contradictory information is written on the left side of the bottom of the PCB:

001-1036
REV. H

The top side of the PCB has both Digital and Cherry branding.
