Comparison with Clare and Pendar reed switches gives an approximate weight (allowing for differing preloads) 180–200 cN, which is well above M9 space bar 120 cN.Separate testing with Tai-Hao APC BSW 280WH and MX Linear Grey suggests full travel force of around 260 cN and preload of 100 cN, which again comes to around a 170–180 cN actuation.
In addition, the slider is 2 mm shorter, giving the switch a total height of 27.3 mm (keystem to PCB) instead of 29.3 mm.
