Case Study 2 - File System Viewers
I sometimes think that Windows and Mac OS 9 would each be alright if you sorted out their respective file system viewers (Mac OS X has no hope). Windows Explorer has long been known to be full of holes, and the Macintosh Finder’s bugs list could fill the annals of time to overflowing (nonsense like crashing outright when asked to open a folder’s parent or if I right-click on a file).
