Ciba-Corning EKT-101

EKT-101 was a standard model of keyboard from Advanced Input Devices. This Ciba-Corning keyboard is only marked as an AID-3, but it is visually identical to other keyboards marked EKT-101. (AID-3 appears to correspond to EKT, Ergokey Truncated.) This one was produced in an elegant “industrial” colour scheme similar to that of the “industrial” flavour of the IBM Enhanced Keyboard.

There is nothing on the keyboard to specifically indicate the date of manufacture, but the code “23086X1/J” may contain an AID five-digit date code indicating a 1986 year of manufacture.
