Lower Sundon post box

Contents

Overview

The Lower Sundon post box (number LU3 63) is a common EIIR type (albeit with a shiny metal plate for the royal cypher) that has been decorated every time I have passed by on pylon hunts. Lower Sundon is a tiny village in Bedfordshire, just north of Luton, and within easy walking distance of Leagrave station.

28th October 2023

Ghosts for Halloween, spelling out “BOO”, with a pumpkin behind them. Had I realised what the letters were for at the time, I would have straighted up the middle letter “O”! Photos taken on pylon hunt 24 to Streatley.
