A or DA = line (unknown angle limit); load chart 3°
B or DB = small angles (up to 23° so far), transposition; load chart 20°
C or DC = larger angles (23°–67° so far), terminal; load chart 60°

Uprated to 132 kV

Basic single earthwire towers, 2 × 132 kV, PL16 at both ends
Angle towers: B type for 17°, C type for 23°, 24°, 29°

Annesley–Staythorpe

Conventional double earthwire, uprated to 132 kV double circuit; PL16 DT at Annesley

Beyond the substation, towers are built as to take two earthwires but have no earthwire crossarm.

Spondon–Loscoe

Double earthwire towers with no earthwire crossarms; uprated to 132 kV double circuit

Only known single-circuit line. Single circuit 66 kV, massively de-rated to 11 kV.
