A collection of freeware and open source Macintosh and Windows software. My Macintosh software officially requires Mac OS 8.1, but users of older versions can read the update resources page for further information.
I also have a small page of miscellaneous software in addition to that listed below – little tools, stone age programs and unfinished but usable applications.
Those wishing to work with the source code to the apps should read the developer notes.

Horizon Converter
Version 2.1For users of Chris Lam’s Horizon BBC Micro emulator for Mac OS 9 and Richard Bannister’s Horizon 1.3 (and later) for Mac OS X. It converts BBC Micro programs from the Net into Horizon-format files (including disc images) via drag-and-drop – whole folders at once – intended as replacement to Chris’s Append and Beeb Disk Splitter utilities.
