Overview
US surplus supplier Electronic Surplus stocks Jeanrenaud TFD switches. These are small, stiff tactile switches with around 2.3 mm travel, and not particularly suited for touch typing. (Being rubber-based, the feel may have degraded severely with age.) Each one ships with a blank keycap, that is a very loose fit. The fit friction is so poor that it is hard to believe that these are even the correct keycaps.
It seemed for a while that these are instead a perfect fit for some other switches, but closer inspection shows that they split the plastic excessively readily.
